I am going to take a short break and continu my Sargo career.. This game is now worth every penny.. |
Hey Foo man i love your work and have used your skins from the beginning, but i have a question i hope you or someone can answer. Ducimus (and tater et al) has made much ado in TM 1.6 about certain equipment and conning towers showing up at specific times. Right now i'm just using TM's skin versions (they're actually quite nice, to me), but if i installed yours would i lose some of the gameplay/historical aspects of these guys' hard work?

I use both TM1.6 and my skins without any problems. |
I've got a problem isntalling both salmon and sargo skins at the same time. AM I missing something? :hmm:

Only they use the same conning tower textures. Just put both in jgsme and install Salmon first and Sargo after that. When jgsme says overwrite files ? just do that. It's no problem. |

Love your Skins FooFighters, take a bow!
Two Questions for you? Is there a USS Thresher SS200 repaint for your weathered Hi-Res skin? Also, a feature to add 'Kills" would be fantastic ( manually in PS or something is just fine) Thanks! :arrgh!: |

USS Thresher looked very much like the Tambor skins I already finished. The limberhole config is pretty much the same. I did not used "Kills" yet, mainly because they were only used after the war. For now painting them is the only way. Badges like in SH-III is not possible. I still have tons of work left (Sargo, S-Class updates and an USS Drum skin). But you are not the only one who asked for USS Thresher so I will put it on the "to do" list. |

I'd be happy to help ya, been doing FlightSim skins for years. * As for the kills, I was thinking of 'painting them on' after each war patrol and updating the skin manually. Cheers! :arrgh!: |

You guy's are not going to believe this
But Foo just made a changling sub for me! I swear to god if it was real life no one would ever see it on the ocean unless it was moving and producing a wake. It actualy changes color as the sun reflect's more light off of the ocean onto it! I am going to see if I can get some photo's that show the effect you have to see it to believe it!
Before the sun started to come up over the horizon it was a dark to mid gray and as the sun started to reflect light off the surface of the ocean the color slowly started to mimic the ocean's surface color. |
That's nuts! :p
