With h.sie and stiebler working on sh3, sh3 will still be the choice for "reality" followers and for me. But it is really sad that there is no GWX for sh4, it may be a better engine, with better possibilities.

Well, I too have my opinion, bus since this isn't a poll I'll refrain from voicing it.
The HAHD team worked hard and if they consider SH4 the better platform for their Mod, so be it.

I own SH4+AddOn, got it to support UBIRO, but never found it appealing beyond the first few hours of 'wow nifty graphics'.

Ahoy Hans. This is your (and your teammates) call matey. Dont try to make everybody happy. From my point of view this is a great chance to identify yourself as the master of SH4 "anabiosis". A chance to inject the gritty and dark atlantic atmosphere of SH3 to (the superior engine of) SH4 and bind together your name and "SH4 Atlantic predator" like the GWX development team did with SH3. But, this is just my opinion...

Hi mate,

Like i said earlier the smoke are special effect created with particle system and the particle system is the child node of the funnel so it follow the direction of the ship.

We have parameters to change the wind direction but there is no real global wind so that why the smoke will always be like that.

Hi mate,

Just look a couple post backward and Mak put a lot of pictures of the GUI.

If we go the SH4 route we will change the GUI completely if possible and since i am just starting to study the SH4 file structure i will be able to tell very soon what we can change and what we are stuck with.

And yes have no worries it would be the Atlantic theater.

For the color scheme of the Atlantic i can do whatever i want and with SH4 shaders i can even write my own shader so this is minor to do for me.

Like i said in SH4 forum i want to emulate SH3 on SH4 the closest possible way and it would be a total conversion to Atlantic theater with all the bell and whistle!

And you probably forgot to read one of my recent post because nothing we did for SH3 will be wasted because we will release each part as individuals mod.

I agree with you but there is still a lot of EGO war unfortunately here and don't put too high your expectation on some talented modders to join us because some of them simply would like to see me vanishing from here.

I am here for history and some are here for their Ego self satisfaction created around the cult like fame of their mighty godliness:k_rofl:

Anyway with or without help i will do it my self as usual.

Don't be upset i will go the SH4 route only if i can emulate SH3 as close as possible.

The water and environment are really not a problem for me i can change them to look exactly like i want and SH4 have more advanced Shader.

Like i say i have made a very intensive reflection before announcing this.

And for people who really don't like SH4 we will release all work done so far as individual mods for SH3.

No worries here most of the work done so far just required to be save for SH4 format in S3d editor and also Privateer talk about someone who did a sh3 to sh4 converter that need to be finish at 80% completed already.

I won't even think about doing the switch if i had to redo everything from scratch:k_confused:

Still prefer SH3 to SH4 here.. by this I'm not referring to gameplay but just the overall feel... if you can get the SH3 feel in SH4... I will be one happy U-boat Kaleun. :Kaleun_Periskop::Kaleun_Salivating:

Don't worry mate if we all agree to do it they will be no clue left that SH4 has a Pacific campaign!

My goal is SH3 with SH4 engine period.

I am looking at it at the moment and will start to show some integration very soon.

The normal bump support will give our surface ship a fantastic look.

I need the rest of the team members approval before i start serious port.
