Hi again,
My name is Carl, my nickname lepic.
My first game was Frogger, but my first sim was Port of call on the Amiga500 if I remember. Since then, I played many game's on the C64 (commodore 64) and C64GS, Atari 8-bit, NES, SuperNES, N64, PS1, PS2, PS3, and since 1997/98 on PC. Still got my NES, N64, PS2 and PS3. But my real sim gaming was with Flight Sim 98, and the famous Battlefield 1942.
Not much a music player, but listen often ; The Kinks, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Bob Dylan, Hendrix, The Who, Ramones, Sam & Dave, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin and Iron Maiden (can add more and more, but that is already too much). Oh and Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby and Bill Schallen, (any 1930's and 40's artist).

Well that's all.

Lepic.

Permission to come aboard

Hi all,

Giving SH5 a go here. Been out of the sub-sim world for quite a while now, since SH4 was fresh and new. Hope SH5 is worth a full campaign!

My name is Mark, i'm 46 and live in Somerset in the UK. I'm in the Royal Navy and work as an electrical/avionic's aircraft engineer.:salute:
I have been playing computer games since about 1980 and my main interests with computers involve sub and flight sims and strategy games.

The earliest subsim I remember using was Silent Service (by Microprose?) on a Commodore 64. I've been a member of subsim.com for a couple of years but haven't really posted before. In fact this is the first time I've been back in 2 years as I just rediscovered SH5 and I'm trying out some of the great mods here. Vanilla SH5 is pants but the mods are fantastic, thanks guys, I'm off to play some more!
