I got the disc to appear but not the OLC green reticule. The stock Ahnenerbe reticule is all that's showing. Is there a way to correct this, thanks.

So I reinstalled the game (i used to use this mod and I love it!)
but now theres a problem. Whenever I raise or lower the attack periscope with the page up/page down key i get a "Jawohl Her Kaleun" every time I press the button and its super annoying. Ive narrowed it down to this mod after hours of trial and error. If i disable this, i dont get the problem. What gives? Was it something that was added? Im only running this with GWX and merchant fleet mod. |
I love this UI, but there are two things that really bug me.
1. The orange font on some of the menu screens are nearly impossible to read. 2. The navigation map screeen is such a huge waste of space. Is there any way to make the map take up a larger portion of the screen? I'm not that experienced in menu modding, but I was able to move the plotting tools further to the right, but i can't figure out how to make the viewable map portion wider. The map is definately across the entire width of the screen, because you can click and drag it around even when not clicking on the map itself. It's as if something is masking off the viewable portion and i don't know where/what it is. |
Also in regards to my problem, i just tried the previous version of the mod and i did not have the same problem.
So something is weird with this version. Here is my modlist GWX 16 KM GWX Enhanced Damage Effects Merchant Fleet Mod Ricks Al Rec Manual Ahnenerbe Widegui Supplement to V16B1 I only get the issue with this mod, ive tried disablign all the other ones... Is there some way i can perhaps remove a sound assosciated with a keypress? I dont know why page up and page down are linked with a crew sound but it seems like an easy fix. |

Yeah it bothered me too. I looked into it and can't figure it out either. It appears to be something hard wired to the PGUP & PGDN keys. I remapped the periscope to the * & / keys on the numpad and it went away. Even with nothing mapped to PGUP & PGDN keys the crew still says it when you push them. I dunno. |
oh so it happens to you too? Anyone else have this happen?
How did you remap the keys, in the config file? Whats weird is that I used this mod before (and im 99 percent sure it was the same version) and I DIDNT have this problem. |

Great mod - many thanks to Ahnenerbe. The interface is awesome. Easy to use to set-up a solution on those munchies. I did some very minor tweaks to fit my tastes and use - realistic settings btw-the only way I know how. Here is my current set of jsgme mods in the game (just testing) [MODS] ImprovedConvoys=1 LifeBoats&Debris_v4=2 Torpedo damage Final ver2.0=3 Waterstream+Exhaust KombiMod V1.0=4 Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920 x 1080 Final=5 So far I have nothing "go wrong" with it. Going in introduce some other mods like maybe an environment or somthing else, before starting a campaign. Thanks again |

My opinion. I only use OLC instruments for manual torpedo attack. Looks good this mod with M.E.P 5 and FM_NewInterior v2.1D mods. Big minus the Kiel Canal routes, fonts (does not support German), and manual data torpedo attack.

Ahnenerbe, with your mod I noticed that my deck gun is not centered while Im using zoom in manual firing mode. It fires approximately at first horizontal mark to the right, instead of firing directly at crosshair location. It works without issues in stock GWX. Приветствую, с новым годом! У меня прицел в палубном орудии сбит и оно бьёт чуть вправо от перекрестия, примерно по первому делению, убираю твой мод и в чистом "сером волке" такого нет, бьёт чётко в перекрестие. Только собрался в поход и на тебе! :arrgh!: UPDATE Im not sure whats going on, but now it works as intended. So in some games it works and in some not, maybe its a heavy wind or im going crazy. Ill try to investigate more. Теперь бьёт в центр.. В общем пару раз точно работало криво, один раз до нового года и сегодня, но вот сейчас всё чётко. Мистика! |
Hello all skippers!
This mod is so good it's almost like an entirely new game. I have one question however. Is there a way to make it compatible with flakmonkey's New Interiors 2.1d? This GUI looks fantastic with the New Interiors, but only the old 1.0 version is compatible while 2.1 is much more advanced in terms of atmosphere and accuracy and that's why I prefer it over 1.0. With both the GUI and Interiors 2.1 active at the same time I couldn't start a new career or load any save games. I also tried editing the commands_en.cfg, but to no effect since I'm a total laic on modding SH3 - the game always CTDs. I'd be very grateful for any help. Regards, Nicator |
