Got to admit that after Peter Davidson Dr Who went down hill very fast.

Okay, I broke down and gave Amazon some extra money. I watched the first episode and enjoyed it a lot, and will be watching one or two per day for the next few days. But...
I don't see any comments on it, so I have to ask: Am I the only one who noticed the book Clara loaned to the kid, and flashed on later when the fake girl appeared to her? Summer Falls, by Amelia Williams. |

I woke up this morning with some favorite scenes in my head. I'm not going to share them. Instead I'll share some of my favorite Doctor Who trivia! Do you know?
1. What was the only story to feature one male companion and no women? 2. What was the only story to have no companions at all? 3. What was the only story to have no companions and NO DOCTOR? I'm sure you can look them up. Do you know them off the top of your head? |

Well, I was going to wait a full week for someone to get the answer to Question Number 3, but Jim just posted the answer in another thread without even knowing it.
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ps0f6b9a8c.jpg In Season 3 they had the massive 12-part 'The Daleks' Masterplan', in which new companion Katarina became the first companion to die, followed quickly by Space Special Security Agent Bret Vyon (Nicholas Courtney, who would later play the long-running friend Colonel/Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart) and his sister SSS Agent Sara Kindom, played by the legendary Jean Marsh. After that the Doctor and Steven Taylor ended up in Paris in 1572 for 'The Massacre', in which they had to negotiate the political machinations between the Catholics and the Huegenots leading up to the massacre of hundreds of the latter on St Bartholomew's Day. They did meet new companion Dodo Chaplet in the last couple of minutes of Episode 4, but she had nothing to do with the story itself except for a possible relationship to one of the older characters. So now you know...the rest of the story! :sunny: |
Well of course I knew...why else do you think I posted that picture silly? :smug:
