Your welcome general.
The one thing im most pleased with so far is the TAI not comressing the distance info, that drove me nuts when conducting an attack. AS the only way to be able to see the enemy ship's icon well was to have the TAI maximized. And that of course took up nearly the entire screen not allowing you to see anything in the scope. Something else though that I'd love to see changed is the size of the dialog boxes, they certainly dont need to be that big, nor do they need to be centered on screen. In fact they only need be about the size of the text box in the lower right corner, and down in the corner instead of taking up half the screen. Especially the WO dialog in the scope view. By the time you pull up the recgontion manual you cant see anything in the scope nearly. |
I have a Core2Duo processor and there is no improvement in framerates in the the Command room or Sub Penn. Also the Sonar station still does not work as it should. The A.I. is much improved though :DL

I don't know if this was already reported. Radar has the same bug as in SH3 first version (was fixed in a later patch): It only detects targets that are straight ahead of your boat (+/- 10 or 20 degrees). If the target bearing is beyond this range, the contact won't show up on the radar screen, no matter how your antenna is directing to.
This (among a lot of other things) tells a lot about the work of these "devs". :damn: |
