Well, I doubt anyone from Ubi will read this, but I concur with the aim. /Quote You'd better believe they do. Someone has been thrown out by UBI on the German forum for starting a similar petition... ...back to topic... Signed |

Those hackers that will undoubtedly get round this DRM system and have the game up on the torrent sites and news groups, within days, are a real problem.
However, I beleive that they will still do so and the upshot will be that their 'hacked' version of the game without the terrible and stupid DRM will probably work better and function more freely, than the official version which will be tied to UBI's servers. So, if anything, UBI are encouraging people to try the 'hacked' version. I have had problems with games containing SecuROM in the past and that was bad enough, but waiting for UBI-Soft to allow me to play a game I own on my own computer....This really is the beginning of the end, of PC gaming. I was bitten by Op Flashpoint Dragon rising which promised dedicated servers and then broke it's promise. I'm gonna cancel my pre-order for this game and wait to see what happens. Signed! :wah: |

Starforce ruined a CDRW drive of mine when I bought SH3. I will buy SH5 but not with the DRM. Regards Aces |

I'm just thinking aloud, there's not much to discuss when you don't have the game? I guess you can comment on the things that are being said by people playing the game... |

I'll just keep on with SH3 and GWX until another U-boat game comes along without a UPlay DRM. :nope: |
