What!? Why can't we use central time? Neal lives there and I'd have to do a lot of math to figure out what GMT is in relation to me, and you know how we Americans are with math.........

Task Force 02-10-09 05:37 PM

Yea... (Could it be after 3:00pm east us time please.)

Add 6 hours to every time he gives. :yeah:

GMT would be a good time to set the game by. Or maybe Norwegian time, since we're in Norway... (Whichever timezone they use)

Oberon 02-10-09 05:53 PM

Aye, I'm usually about from about 12GMT to 23GMT any time out of that I will not be about.

If a guardian manages to successfully protect someone, who knows it? The Guardian, of course, and the attacker, but does the attacked know about it?

I would love to, but schedules just don't make it that easy. My schedule, because I have to administer parts of the game, and the players, because they are in so many time zones and they all have varying schedules. If I set the story clock to real time, there will be people who do not get to vote or participate. I could synch it with my schedule, but if we make it a 24 day, that would make it impossible for some people to participate in all the activities.

Ok, strike all that... Will this work?

CST

  • 8am to 6pm Day begins, discussion for 10 hours, role-playing, then votes for lynching must be submitted by 5pm
  • 6pm to 8pm lynch vote counted, execution carried out
  • 8pm to 8am Night begins, seers, guardians, wolves PM their actions
GMT

  • 2pm to midnight Day begins, discussion for 10 hours, role-playing, then votes for lynching must be submitted by 11pm
  • midnight to 2am lynch vote counted, execution carried out
  • 2am to 2pm Night begins, seers, guardians, wolves PM their actions
Now, what I expect could happen, there are people who cannot play with a 24 hour clock, that's why the game has been stretching each story day into 24+ hours, but I'm willing to give it a go, as long as no one says "that won't work for me". Oh, and as long as no one gets mad at me if we go off schedule once or twice :)

I use this clock as GMT

If a werewolf attacks someone and they are not killed, then he has to assume:

1. The person was protected by a guardian
2. The person WAS a guardian.

Bear in mind that werewolves can kill other wolves, if they aren't careful.

Did I miss anything?
