Just as a quick aside, something weird is happening here....
...every time I get stuck in with a new patrol (I keep coming back to it over weeks and months sometimes) some clever so-and-so goes and releases a new and more flashy must have mod requiring me to re-learn how to install this game and all of its components. :D My crew always seem to have it easy; we never get past '41 before a new ubermod appears. As the captain of U-something-or-other, I find all this quite interesting, but ships don't sink themselves, you know! The crew are quite grateful for all this time in dock, though I rather think that even the local tarts are sick of the sight of them by now; they've fairly worn a path from the barracks to the 'velvet palace' that even a blind man could follow. Still, at least they're not getting into any other trouble, not like last year... It was good we left on patrol the next day. The tale of the cork screw and the pound of warm brie is not one our chief engineer will live down any time soon. He claims to know nothing and when pressed on the issue, he skulks back to his diesels, muttering about a demonstration of oil pressure and gaskets. Suffice to say, there is at least one madam who's hospitality was sorely infringed upon, and marked by a desultory withdrawal to the boat, we have not been invited back. Assuming my men have enough strength left with which to fight a war after their arduous tour of duty with the local girls, I shall be pleased to use whatever means our dedicated scientists have contrived, in order to stick it to ze englanders and deprive them of their breakfast tea, eh? Soon the channel will run brown with all of your sunken tea leaves, then what will you do Tommy?! :arrgh!: :sunny: |
Thank the WHOLE GWX 3 development team for the great mod. You guys have my salute
And congratz to you all for making SH3 more than an arcade game, and implemented features that the Romanian development team left out However I am not downloading this now, since I am currently running SH3 on a notebook which capability is not great enough to handle your awesome mod smoothly |
Great work fellas, it's great to get back into SH3 at long last!
However I do have one question. I realise that full support for Sh3 Commander is coming soon, I read that I can use version 2.1 along with the config file update, does anyone know where I can download version 2.1? All I have is version 2.7 and 3.1! |

Awaiting an answer to a question on Commander files.
Once I have the answer? The new files will be uploaded. It comes with it's own installer so should be quite easy to use. |
Looking forwards to re-enabling random depth crush, malfunctions, and sabotage! (Just so they don't happen to me, eh? ;) )

Commander update is now uploaded to the CottonSwabs link in first post.

One thing though, it could be just me but only the Cfg folder is installed, no Flotilla or U-boat folder is extracted? |
