No time compression = no dynamic campaign
What do you think?

Flick 09-13-07 04:31 AM

:hmm: Enigma 2

Destroyer Command II would have been a nice Thursday morning surprise. :)

It looks very promising.
Now my little rant : why do we have ANOTHER WW II sim ? :shifty:
Lets see a little bit of courage and start making games that explore the cold war era. :|\\

I'll get it though unless it's above my specs.

Dynamic or Scripted Campaigns

We aren't yet prepared to release details on this, but the campaigns will be handled very differently from Enigma 1. I can say that rather than the randomized variables approach to dynamic missions, we are looking at a dynamic environment approach; the world goes on with or without you.

FYI: We create WWII related games because we love the era.

Hey East,

Man, you got some sticktoitiveness. Congrats on being able to get your project back on track!

If there has been one aspect of naval sims that has been ignored it is surface combat. I for one am looking forward to it. Good luck.

Will Sink the Hood be exclusively the RN vs. Bismarck or will we see some US vessels as well?

KypFisto 09-13-07 11:18 AM

I was hoping for a modern day subsim but I suppose I'll check this one out if they release a demo for it.

Huh.

Eugene, huh?

Man, after Sierra shut down the Tribes team, I wasn't aware there WERE any game developers still working down there! Geeze, if I'd known a subsim developer was in the area.... :damn:

(AKA, Greetings from PDX!)
