nvdrifter,
I have already checked the files in your "Longer wakes" mod and none of them have been changed in GWX 1.02. So that mod, at least, should be completely compatible with 1.02. I have been running it with no problem.

 Thanks nvdrifter, appreciate the work you've already put into this mod and looking forward to the new 102 Lite version.

I am glad I asked!

I will use the wakes but drop the LRT for now.

Thanks!

Im using LRT Lite 1.31 with GWX 1.02 and im not experienced any troubles.

Kumando 03-01-07 08:02 PM

So Nvdrifter do you already know if LRT Lite 1.31 is fully compatible with GWX 1.02?

Hi Kumando. No, unfortunately some of the important files in the GWX update might affect LRT v1.31, so they probably aren't fully compatible. It may seem that LRT v1.31 works smoothly with the new GWX update, but there might be problems that are not so obvious. There is going to be a final GWX update release in a few weeks, so I am going to wait and release a new version (LRT v1.32) compatible with that GWX release.

Thanks for the update mate:up: yeah it seems that some weird things were happening in 1.02, i was fixing some leaks and the hull was 84% i sat on the bottom to repair boosted up the tc and keep geting the msg from the engineer "we are taking damage" but the water lever was not rising and later 3 men were dead with the water level way to low to kill anyone, so this cant be normal right?

It's not LRT, it's the stock game collision model. Unfortunately it's hard-coded and cannot be easily fixed. :-?

Just a clue: i guess that this is more noticiable in bad weather or just when you are in mid anywhere (distant from coast) where, in Sh3, the sea movements are more strong. I'm saying this because all we already stay on the botton in others moments without damage, no?
Try to think in this behaviour and stay on the bottom only the necessary time. Perhaps making a urgent repair and try to stay low but not in the bottom after that.
Well, in truth is just a guess.:hmm:

Rubini.

Hi Rubini. Collision damage with the sea floor seems to happen randomly. Maybe currents or weather has something to do with it. But from all of my tweaking and modding of currents and weather have not stopped the damage. It is more noticeable when using high time compression on the sea floor. And it will eventually kill most of the crew. I'm guessing it's bug # 1,023 that Ubisoft never fixed. :dead:
