That sounds even more ideal. How is Irish attitude towards Americans?

The same attitude as for any other tourist, fleece them for every penny they have:haha:

But seriously, considering that you will be hard pushed to find someone whose immediate family are not now yanks, plus the huge numbers of people who lived and worked in the states, add in the large numbers of American immigrants and American students, then it puts the ground for you as pretty solid.
Of course you will meet the occasional dickhead like anywhere, generally someone who has been nowhere and done nothing in their life, the kind of soup who thinks people in all the surrounding villages apart from his are a bit strange, and he's not too sure about the rest of the people in his village either.

I was in the Navy (USS Harry S. Truman) so trust me...if anybody knows anything about being a tourist, it's me. :har:

Thanks again...but let's get back on topic, now. Shall we?

Scottish Parliament dose not rule over me so I'm not that...

I heard MP's are still at it with their expenses but now they have gone to the other extreme, Toff Boy put in a claim for paper clip...cost 7p. Just to say all of the parties have been doing this.

Jimbuna 01-29-14 07:02 AM

Write to your MP telling him you have issues you need to discuss with him.

He picks up the bar tab under current parliamentary understanding

Longer school days, shorter holidays and 45-hour weeks 'could be the perfect manifesto to win the Tories the next election'

Just shows the way things are going, get the kids used to long school hours and all set for longer hours and crap wages when they go to work. Yes the few are bleeding the majority dry. Forget that bull dung statement the money trickles down that is a lie, try up to the rich.

Jimbuna 02-01-14 07:22 AM

Doesn't look like The Independent is being all that 'independent'.

Jimbuna 02-03-14 05:14 PM

I've found a job opportunity for you STEED :)

Senior Conservative MP Tim Yeo has lost his fight against being deselected by party activists.

The former environment minister demanded the secret ballot by Tory members in South Suffolk after the association's committee voted not to re-adopt him as a candidate.

David Cameron doubles as a test your strength meter.

The harder you throw a brick at his face, the louder the cheering.

Moonlight 02-09-14 07:21 AM

Now they've put Eric Pickles in temporary charge of the floods they'll subside in no time, I hear he's got a new masterplan which involves using extra biscuits as dunkers to soak the water up. Trust that Pickles chappie to come up with a plan that involves biscuits.:haha:

STEED 02-09-14 07:46 AM

Man of the hour david cameron comes to the rescue!

In the name of get a grip and wake up! Toffboy was warned last summer about risks of flooding this winter and was advice to do something now as in then before the floods happen and he said no. Now Toffboy is making out he is on the case, too bloody late and if he did care he would have acted before to prevent the flooding.

Eric Pickles: 'We should have dredged'

Communities Secretary Eric Pickles says the government "made a mistake" and should have dredged the flood-hit Somerset Levels.

Speaking on the Andrew Marr Show, he apologised "unreservedly" to those affected by the flooding.

But he refused to "nudge" Lord Smith of Finsbury out of his position as head of the Environment Agency.

Looks like David has chosen someone to be the scapegoat.
