not that it's of particular interest.
You don't think the person in charge of education using unscientific and factually incorrect polls when making statements on future education policy is interesting?
At least IDS was using proper surveys then manipulating the figures when he made his policy speeches.

Nothing much that the present ruling mob do interests me that much. It's not as if I could change it anyway.

Labour voters shift their views on welfare claimants - to the right

Pressure on Labour to adopt a tougher stance on welfare has increased after new research showed that the party’s own supporters are less sympathetic towards benefit claimants.
While the public became more sympathetic towards people in poverty during the recessions of the 1990s and late 2000s, attitudes towards claimants hardened. The change was caused by a shift amongst Labour supporters, whose views moved much closer towards people who vote Conservative

Good news for Toff Boy, 2015 looking good for him and bloody awful for us.

That's not their doing, nor the Tories, for the failing justice system. Only recently a driver who killed a cyclist 25 years ago, and again another cyclist more recently, got just 300 hours community service.

At the end of the day they lied, not kill someone, not rob a bank, or kidnap someone, lied. I'm sure we've all lied, even sometimes to the police. I'd rather the case was dropped with just slapped wrists and not cost the taxpaying public a small fortune for a display of 'justice' (or just desserts).

Putting the term served to one side, he's lost an awful lot more when you weigh up the potential future consequences....all for the sake of a few penalty points and a possible driving ban.

MPs Reject Tory EU Referendum Amendment

More than 100 MPs expressed their regret tonight at the Government's decision not to include an EU referendum Bill in its new legislative programme.
The 130 MPs backed an amendment to the Queen's Speech, tabled by Tory Eurosceptics John Baron and Peter Bone, in a House of Commons vote.
Mr Baron's amendment was signed by 92 MPs, mostly Conservative Eurosceptics. But, despite the support, it was defeated by 277 votes to 130, majority 147.

A&E must change or face collapse, NHS warned

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-22529561

The NHS is safe in Tory hands :har: :har:

333 donations from private healthcare sources totalling £8.3 million gifted to the Tories. THIS IS WHAT IT,S ALL ABOUT:nope:

Jimbuna 05-16-13 05:46 AM

Also, because of the reduction in funding for social care, over one million extra people visited A&E because there were few if any alternative options.

Jimbuna 05-16-13 12:06 PM

No surprises here then...

He told the BBC the system was "skewed against the claimant".

A member of David Cameron's inner circle has reportedly described Tory activists as "mad swivel-eyed loons".
The senior figure blamed local Conservative associations for pressuring Tory MPs into supporting a eurosceptic amendment to the Queen's Speech.
