Also I can't help compare to what I used to pay when I was in Pitt.PA in 1991-93, about a buck a gallon.
Somebody's plans to get a few extra oil barrels backfired.

Spent a month in England back in the late 90's, when gas was breaking $1.25 per gallon then. I remember seeing a gas (petrol!) station saying (what I thought meant, being an ethnocentric fool like we all are at times) .65 per gallon. I was quickly informed that was pound and liters. After some quick math I was like 0oooooooo.
