Well I'm one of the owners then :P But I haven't booted my XBox for a good while. Skyrim needs to played on PC to get the best out of it.

Honestly, if you are playing this sort of game on a console then you're doing it wrong. The bugs will be ironed out by the time it comes to PC. Mark me as not concerned. Bethesda has been awesome for a long, long time.

Been playing it on PC since it came out, and it still has bugs.

Yesterday I picked it up on PS3. I'm surprised, but I'm actually liking it on PS3 better. Granted, there's no user mods available, but I've never used them anyhow.

I have got this game on PC. I've seen on other forums the complaints coming out about Dawnguard. Yes Bethesda have been awesome for a long time. But when it comes to fixing thing's they just can't do it. The Nav Mesh bug is still there after 3 games, if anyone is familliar with Fallout New Vegas and it's Problems will realise by the time we PC and Playstaion players will get it, it still won't be fixed. Hell that's why we got the 1.6 Patch.

I'm sure everything will be perfectly fine after a few patches. Like always.

Finally got my chance to dispatch a dragon in 1 fell, er, sting.

And still, it is all so remarkably lovely.

New Vegas, while indeed published by Bethesda, was developed by Obsidian by a number of members of the original Fallout team. That aside, I did not find the game all that buggy. Neither did I find Fallout 3, Oblivion, or for that matter, Skyrim. Could be your system.

Nobody should be and anyone who thinks that Bethesda will fix those before they hit the PC/PS3 are deluded.

Bethesda/ZeniMax only care for cash + deadlines. Let's take patch v1.60 for example, it was in Beta status on the PC for over a month. Bugs and issues were found and yet Bethesda released the same (unfixed) patch on the Xbox purely to allow Dawnguard to go ahead.

Every patch to date has followed this method, release on PC, gather bug list from the 'willing to pay' beta testers, make note, release bugged patch on other platforms anyway weeks or months later + reduce draw distance and LOD. :yeah:

Okay. Have fun not playing the game. Be sure to share your experiences.

Name one Information Technology company where that isn't the primary focus. Yeah i put Game development companies in with regular IT companies because they develop software for computers. Game developers aren't in the business they're in as a charity or community service. They only care about their reputations or customer relations if it effects their bottom line. Cash. If it doesn't effect that, they aren't concerned.

Getting back into skyrim, resurrecting my main thats only lvl 39, i read somewhere we want at least a lvl 40 to play the DLC Dawngaurd when its out for pc dont know if thats right but gonna lvl my orc up to 50 at least. Catching up on some mods ive found tonight the SkyMoMod and this bags & pouches mod which looks cool when on our characters.

Dowly 06-30-12 06:26 AM

The lvl40 recommendation seems a bit high to me, considering the first time I beat the main story on master difficulty and as a dual wielder, I was lvl 33-34. :hmmm:
