Whoops, forgot about that, but does it follow that an Enigma II would have to follow the same story line at Enigma I?
|
The Enigma design is to follow alternate history until we end up with a completely different political, economic, and scientific landscape (highly unlikely), or we have an eventual convergence (with some differences) of events back to a history resembling the one we are familiar with.
Chapter 2 follows the events immediately after Chapter 1. "Sink The Hood" is the title of the story. This is where some of the ships that haven't been seen in Enigma before will come in; the first carriers, Cruisers, Battleships. You can still choose submarine or surface, and any of the 3 factions to play. |
Why cant it be a WWI sub sim with all nations that had subs at the time and you can play as those nations. Like Germany would have good subs like SOF but add US and UK subs.
|
There is a WWI sim, it's called "Shell of Fury" and it does as well as Silent Hunter #1.
A remake of SHIII with SHIV techs. would be aGa a wet dream! |
That is why I get games via STEAM... the don't have the crappy protection in place. You don't need a DVD to play the game that way, and if you rebuild your PC all you need to do is re-d/l the game and install. Way better than purchasing a DVD

Wonderful, i've been hoping the sequel would be continued.:D This is great news, along with the fact none of that worthless copy-protection is in the sequel. I still have yet to get Enigma 1 to work on Vista due to that copy-protection.
|
I purchased the UK version of Enigma 1 which had no starforce copy protection.
|
Now you get to have the experience of playing one of the most disappointing naval sims ever made?
Enigma is by no means bad. It's just that it sells itself waaaaay short. What with scripted missions and all. |

sounds intresting...

I don't think I would touch an ERT 2. I have too many issues with Tesseraction. Too many broken promises if not out and out lies.

Hate responding to a troll post, but...lies?
