Ladies and Gentlemen,

Good day. I was looking on YouTube Videos on Thursday and came across SH5. It was in my Amazon trolley before you could say Dive!

A long time player of simulators on maximum realism, but normally focused on flight (especially Falcon 4, Falcon SP, Falson AF, Falcon BMS - all the same sim just various mods).

I used to play 688i back in the day and many many many years ago tried to write a sub game in BASIC.

Looking forward to the learning curve of SH5. Although not looking forward to the bugs. My copy ETA is Monday so I am spending the weekend readin about the VII on various websites and peoples tips and tricks here.

Is there a better manual than the "back of a fag packet" couple of lines that come with the game.

Also any tips for a new skipper.

First introduction campaign under the belt. Patches away + a lot of reading this AM on GHA, LHA etc. Fun fun fun.

Been playing SH5 for two years on and off. I'm pretty bad at the game even at moderate realism settings (unmodded, I know ewww), but I'm slowly improving. Fun fact, I've been on both a U-Boat and the USS Nautilus irl.
