And it looks like that'll be the last of this series, at least for a little while. My game save was corrupted (Seriously Ubisoft, can't save while submerged?!)

I have been watching and enjoying this series, and because of it I, too, have ordered my copy of SH5. I started with SubSims back in the CAOD days (10th U-flotille), and despite the "primitive" graphics (by today's standards), it is still my favourite. I am grateful that these posts are so recent; revealing current interest in these games.

...And I like the original format: watching the travel. That was part of the charm.

Bought WIN-7 after a major computer problem a month back. Reinstall Steam and Now SH-5 after seeing the vids by Kamakazi.

His list of MODs is intimidating; do they have an installer similar to many sims I've seen?

question about maintaining full speed by not reloading batteries
 

Hello. with which button can i maintain full speed (17kts flat sea conditions) not fully reloaded batteries? now i have to wait before the batteries are fully reloaded to get my 17 kts.

Very thorough and well done.

It's always been playable, but yeah most of the bugs are gone and so is DRM.

I wanted to ask you when you plan to return back to Silent Hunter V. I know you really get into the games that you get busy with but I've seen the videos in my subscription box. Anyway, please head back to it.
