I don't urgently need crowfunding.

Don't expect me to comment this picture. You won't get any answers. :haha:

Hmm could that be the last thoughts of an unlucky submariner?
|
Is this some marketing attempt I just don't grasp? ;)

Alright, I'm just interested. May I ask what's currently done, what's working? You have the most beautiful waves and ocean simulation I've ever seen, even better than most desktop PC games! April isn't that far away.

In short: After 4.5 years of development I have many things prepared that just need to be implemented into the project as needed, some things needs to be changed a bit first but not dramatically. The ships (& submarine) physics for example still work pefectly with my new ocean even if I haven't really shown anything of it in recent movies. Same for depth charges and torpedoes. In case you haven't seen the ship physics yet, this is a very old movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZUjQU0h3T82 While the world's terrain has no final rendering solution yet the necessary data is already completely processed & prepared. (my machine had to calculate a whole month to process and merge the necessary data :o ) - as this genre shows mostly open water the development of the terrain renderer solution itself was secondary and it had to automatically fit to my final game world visual solutions (things that feed my shaders etc.). Doing it before the final water is done would have been a waste of time. Much more important was to have completely prepared data in my own proprietary format which is ready to use. Oh and sure… game logic is also prepared. But "WOTA: Seehund Type XXVIIB" will be different from the full scale sim "WOTA: Wolves of the Atlantic" in many internal things anyway. I have no gun physics yet and some other minor stuff is missing. Oh and I completely dropped the old GUI. The already prepared parts are implemented step by step to locate performance bottlenecks and to ensure that performance will be still great. |
Thanks for that honest answer! Ok, I think I mixed this up so you will release Seehund first, right?

Still curious. What is that image you've posted before? :timeout:

I have no idea what it means.
I hope not "auf Eis gelegt". :o |

…but even if "auf Eis gelegt" would really be what's behind this picture then I would not confirm it (Don't expect me to comment this picture. You won't get any answers) |
A couple of things ....
The WOTA website still has the "Coming In ...." date listed as 2013. You might wanna change that. How is progress on the "1942" flight sim coming along, hmm? |

So this is gonna be iPad Air-worthy, ja ....?
And you still didn't answer my question about the status of the development of the "1942" flightsim. |
