WWIIOL? :88)

If only they had the "Ships" part as a main part of the game instead of an afterthought

Task Force 11-17-08 03:57 PM

Yea ships would be intresting. no one has made a decent ship simulator that simulates wartime conditions.

And 2009 gives us even more renders. *sigh*

Well at least they're introducing the walrus...

But seriously, Oleg really needs some marketing lessons. This is no way to treat your (soon to be not so) eager fans:nope:

Task Force 01-05-09 04:41 PM

Waiting, waiting, I just keep on waiting. *song form*

As long as the graphics & gameplay get better the longer we wait, I'll still be interested

Translation of the Oleg's interview I posted the link to now available:

Kratos 03-09-09 07:00 PM

:03: Aye read it over at the banana forum last week, at least it gives hope that it's still alive. Doesn't mean that its gonna be finished anytime soon. :salute:...but what i make out between the lines most of the hard work is done, so you never know it might get done for Xmas time (wishful thinking) :O:

Fincuan 03-10-09 07:00 AM

Aye, thanks for the interview. Great things in store for us, even if half of what Oleg says there turns out not to be true(cough cough).

I especially liked this part:

Just look at Armed Assault for an example on how making the game moddable to begin with(most of the the official content is actually "modules", just like all the user-made) and releasing the necessary tools affects the amount quality user-made modifications. Looking promising indeed :yeah:

Dowly 05-16-09 08:54 AM

WOOOT!!! SoW is released on June 2, 2009!!!

Wha? Gameshops say it will, they never lie! :O:
