Probably not. Adding regular models is easy, but with playable models you have to worry about mast positions and opening doors. There aren't many people who can do that. If such a model was available though, yeah, we'd love to have it.
No, I was thinking mainly about the non-playables, like I said: Typhoon, Delta IV are already there, but I think there were more in SCX.

For player controllable platforms you could ask for permission to use the models from Alfa Tau 3, they have a lovely looking Kilo, and a beautiful Akula.

Oh, sorry I misunderstood. We've been given permission to use Xabba's and Deepsix's models, IIRC, and those have always been part of the scope of the project.

Browsing a bit through the USNI I found a unit that would very much wellcome a new 3D model from SCX: The Ohio

I'll report if I find more, should be a rather easy change for the LWAMI patch.

Here is a hotfix for 3.08 that corrects the CIWS bug: http://www.commanders-academy.com/fo...2012#post32012

3.09 is now actively being worked on again, within the parameters discussed above (mostly adding SCX models, and the platforms that the models are for if they aren't already in the DB). I already had a database meltdown and lost a day of work, but I have since remembered the cardinal rule about backing up my work and that won't happen again. I think it'll take about a week in total, hopefully not more than two.

little bit needed requirements and still - do not forget about helicopters - they also bugs required correct work:p

Could you elaborate, please?

GrayOwl 12-06-08 03:32 AM

The helicopter throws torpedos not on the found out contact, simply at arrival less than 1500 meters from the nominated point [ WayPointReached variable Triggered] (when it started from the ship).

Even if a SUB already is not present in that point where the helicopter, it all the same will drop torpedos.

The helicopter at first should find a SUB and only then to drop torpedos.

Also one more bug - Seawolf a radar.

On depth 54 feet radiations of a radar do not give back a position Sub.

Only on depth of 53 ft and above, the radiation of a radar SSN21 can be counterdetected others AI platforms.

Molon Labe 12-06-08 10:41 AM

I guess I can look into the SW issue, but for any and all doctrine work you need to talk to LuftWolf.

Molon Labe 12-06-08 11:06 AM

I've just run a LAN test and the Seawolf's radar emissions were detectable at a depth of 54 feet.

GrayOwl 12-06-08 12:07 PM

I speak rather AI of platforms.

Make the trigger CounterDetect by ECM (for example if Seawolf detect By Grisha-V with ESM) in trial scenario.

Grisha (and any other ships) do not see radiation of a radar SSN21 of the player when SUB is on depth 54 feet. When you will order depth of 53 ft, and is higher, only then AI the ships will be capable to see radar radiation.

OK I see what you mean. I wish you would have PMed this since it's an exploit. In any case, I'm at a loss to know how to fix it. If someone wants to make a fix and test it, I'll be happy to incorporate it though.

Quick update for you guys.

Progress so far includes:

Edits to:
DM2-A4 (increased range/speed, previously had DM2-A3 stats)
Type 206 loadout (A4 to A3)
USET-95 (significant nerf)
SUT (increased to correct range)

New Platforms and weapons
DM2-A3 torpedo

Alfa SSN (no TA yet--is this correct?)
Charlie-I and -II SSGN (no TA yet--is this correct?)
Model update for SS-N-9
SS-N-7
SS-N-9 SLCM variant (shorter range than surface launched)

Valiant SSN (no TA, is this correct?)
Oberon SSK (UK, CAN, AUS, Chile)
--CAN and AUS versions have stern tubes replaced with towed array
Mk 48 Torpedo

Oyashio SSK (has TA)
Yushio SSK (has TA)

Scorpene SSK (Chile, Malaysia) (has TA)
Black Shark Torpedo (assumed 250kg warhead; other stats available)

Challenger SSK (Sjoormen-Singapore) (no TA, is this correct?)
Type 613 and 431 torpedoes

Sauro SSK (no TA, is this correct?)
A-184 torpedo

You'll notice several subs here to not have TA's. This means I didn't find a source saying it had one--but it's a lot easier to prove a postive than to prove a negative. If anyone has a source saying any of these subs that are TA-less should have one, reply with a link please.
