let me tell you guys a funny story
For a week now I have been trying to acheave what one man requested of me. I have started and restarted this game so many times checking the results of my changes if my PC or the game could talk they would be swearing at me like there is no tomarrow!
All I have been doing is eating, sleeping and dreaming on how to make it perfect for a week now! Finaly I decieded to go to an outside source, Davy Jone's no less, and he said, "You are going to have to talk to Posiden himself to find out the secrets to his furry upon the ocean". So I said okay how do I find Posiden? The Davy says, "It will cost you 100 years under the mast of my ship, The Flying Dutchman"! Well stumped as I was there wasn't much of a choice in the matter so I agreed like the fool I am! When I met with Posiden and told him my probelm he just laughed like he had never laughed before in his life! I said, "What's so damm funny"? Finaly he stoped long enough to say this, "You made a deal with the Devel himself just to learn that all you have to do is teach the game the difference between 1's and 0's like most computers understand instead of fighting what has all ready been programed and changed to someone else's liking", then he started to laugh again once he saw on my face that I realized how stupid I have been! Here I am trying to fight someone elses original values of what 1's and 0's are instead of teaching the game what the base figures should be in the first place! Now if all goes well I should have this done by Monday just a little fine tuning here and there that should go much smoother! Well at least Davy Agreed to wait till I am near death before taking me so with a little luck that should be a few years from now! LOL!!!!!!! |

sqk7744 you will notice a bit of a change in fuel consumption in the sub when your in ruffer seas because the current starts to create a drag effect if you are heading against it. Yes your knt meter might show you are still doing what you set for it but if we had an actual engine RPM guage you would notice that to maintain that speed the engines are running harder. In the physics program I picked up it shows the drag effect and in the virtual engine that you program for horse power and final output vs speed settings vs water and current drag vs engine rpm speed to maintain lets say 12knt's the rpm increases from 1500rpms to 1900 rpm's to maintain that speed as I set it up like the max rpm value of the engines is 3000rpm's.
Anyways I think the game actualy creates it's own vs of what my pysics program shows. Otherwise the sub wouldn't change speeds and lean into a turn in the higher sea's that are faster running like it does now. |

no weight physics were removed with patch 1.3
that is why cargo no longer has an effect on ships running depth anymore it was the DEV's cure for torpedo's running under the ships when you go by the recmanual depths. Havn't figured out what exactly they changed yet to do that I think it is some where in the library files.
