I liked best those scenes with the 747 flying by in excessive manouveurs and every time all the people on board went "Aaaaaaahhhh...!" :rotfl: That NASA bird accelerating to amok levels wasn't bad either. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good stuff! :p The "aahhh" thing reminds me of riding a cable car packed with japanese tourists in Zermatt. Every ridge we went over "hhhaaaaa"....

Two classics here, but in case you haven't seen them. Bill et John, episodes I & II. Made with Lock On. The guy singing the "danger zone" and flying the jet is priceless! The number two is outstanding as well. Don't drop a Maverick on the runway...;)

Bill et John

Bill et John II

By the way, anyone know what the REALLY fast Air Force/Nasa plane is and where I can download it?
That looks very much like AlphaSim's XB-70 Valkyrie to me, find it here:

I just joined the SubSim world (with SH4) a couple of weeks ago....and just today strumbled across this Aviator forum.

My involvement has been with the IL2 flight sim series for the past 6 years or more, and especially with IL2 FlightSim-based movies. In this relatively lengthy thread, I've seen some interesting youtube hosted videos, but only one of the truly great "IL2" movies has been mentioned/linked.

The Flight Sim Machinima website was established precisely for the purpose of providing links to stream or download the Best-of-the-Best movies ever produced from the IL2-FB-PF-1946 series, from 2002 through 2007.

At FSM you will find more than 60 movies catalogued by year of production and type, each with a synopsis and a link to download and/or stream the movie. All such movie downloads or streaming versions are in high resolution format, usually *.AVI files (DivX or XVid compression codecs). Youtube and Google on-line videos in the converted Flash format greatly sacrifice visual quality for convenience.

Be advised that some of the newer the movies at FSM are of extended duration, 20 to 30 minutes. "Faith, Hope, and Charity", for that matter, is a full one-hour long drama.....so bring popcorn and/or a couple of beers.

Thanks for the link.

I liked Faith Hope & Charity

Do you guys have plans do cover any events in the Eastern Front like some of the female aces and their stories?

XabbaRus 11-04-07 04:23 AM

Actually for my next video I was thinking of putting together something that represents the actions that took place on the eastern front.

A historical basis would be good as to whcih groups and which battles were taking part even if the actual event never happened.

Any recommendations?
