i know i shouldnt,but i would like to ask someone leet to make one emblem a bit weathered,because i dont know how to.

this is the coat of arms of my home town.

i have a tga version of it but as i mentioned before,it is unweathered.

(in smaller sizes, it has a better quality, i dont know why does it appear this big)

Heres the next one I am working on. Its a scan of my (Shaffer) heraldry, alas I do not know the proper coloring scheme to colorize it :damn: but the Image on the Shield is Oh So Fitting.. :arrgh!:

I'm using the stock "Goldener Diamant" sign, as I love it, it's beautiful, simple and appealing to my aestethics. :)

And here goes my question: do you have any information, where it comes from? I tried to search the forums, nothing about it, also websearch machines deliver some crappy info about software and mouse cursors... Would be great to know the story of the sign.

Here is the one I am currently working on...its the emblem that was on The U-94 sunk on 28 Aug. 1942.

Don't laugh to hard I am still learning how to use GIMP.
