Initially intended for final detail view for texture modding. I'm working on a Type XXI with a black color scheme and cranked up the speed and hp for the electric engines to send it flying out of the water to get a good 360 view of it without the blur of the water to more carefully inspect detail. It's funnier though when I do that around enemy ships and they're shooting at my submarine with AA Guns. I will get a pic of that and replace this one with it.

I imagine that it would take a real beating on the way down, at least a real boat would:) You should take a pic while cruising through an enemy port like that

or over it!

Whenever I look at that last picture posted above, I hear a little voice in my head singing, "Heeeeeere I come to save the day..." :D

Suffice it to say, that looks like a hell of a ride

Nothing beats the adrenalin rush of being on deck of a Type XXI Submarine traveling at 97knots while 40 meters above the surface!:up:

Nope none of the above....your perception/interpretation. If any of the above were true my post would have been a little more succinct.

I was directing my comments at the flying boat....so many of which we have seen over the years.

I prefer to remember the many hours spent at getting it (the XXI) to behave like the real item did under a multitude of differing sea conditions/parameters.
