Must be Chinese. They copy things but lag behind a bit. Bad copy anyway. Reminds me of back in 2006 when the Football (Soccer) World Tournament was held. in Germany. In that context myy football team played against a team of Chinese students who had come to Germany to learn how to play football. They were all wearing football jerseys of the Dutch National team which they thought were the team to copy. That is like waving the red shirt to the bull if you are German.
The Chinese team were good players to some degree, I mean, they played very well untiil they reached our penalty zone. It seemed they had not yet read the chapter in their teaching book about what to do when you come close to the opposite penalty zone, they were too academic. They had no clue how to score a goal. We beat them 8:0. Funny thing was, my opponent had no idea how to react to rough tacklings by me. After some tacklings he thought it was part of the game to start to try to beat me. I tried to explain to him that the game is a little bit more subtle.There is a cultural gap or I am a racist, or both. Anyway, that was a fun thing. |
