But, but, but, the Us navy only HAD two Mackerel class subs, and that Guppy 1A has a Guppy 3 sail! Imagine my surprise to learn that we made 4 Mackerels for Peru. And that 1A boat could certainly have received a later Guppy 3 sail before being sold to Peru. Oh the things we learn... |
