Just want ti take this time to thank of the modders out there for the great work they are doing and have done. you make a good game into a great one i would even buy
a beer for you, should you be near to me that is lol.

i have modded arma before and made missions for that game, so i may have a look at your work here and see if it would be fun to do something for this game.
Great forum hope you are all well.

Hi!
The first posting to this forum, although I have followed the forum for 3-4 years.
The first dives made some years (about 20y) ago for 688 Attack Sub and then silent service II. First real love was aces of the deep. Then little bit later sh1 and now shIII (since the appearence ). Sh IV and Sh V are waiting of stock.

About me: selling and repairing computers for a living ( 10 years now).
Gratuated fisherman/fishfarmer but there was not job for me so now in IT.
( but there is a love of the sea from)

Kittilä to the sea is about 266 km.

Thats little info at me, but all the tnx for this forum and all the modders to make the games better:salute:

Hi all, Raised in Denver, spent first 21 years after school as a MM(SS) on varous boats out of Norfolk, then SD. Boats I was assigned, 2 688s, a 637, and a 688i. Spent a lot of time plotting dots as section tracking and Battlestations. Enjoyed it as it got me out of the engineroom and was nice to see what was actually going on besides answering the ordered bell. One of the my ships Weapons Officer actually used Janes 688 to run training on the section tracking party and the ships control party. How about that for realistic simulation!

How I re-found Subsim

I actually stumbled across Subsim a long time ago when I first started playing Silent Hunter II back in 2003. I just went through a few old boxes of mine and found my old copy of Silent Hunter III that I have not played in several years. I decided to install the game on my computer, and remember that I had heavily modded Silent Hunter II and III when I played them long ago. I was unable to remember my old account since it's been over 6 years since I last played so I created a new account. I am looking forward to playing again, checking out all the new mods, and getting back into the Submarine game genre once again.
