The cruelty of war was too much for this guy...

Haha, the animations are great for the passengers. Some pray, some are shaking from fear, very nice touch. :yep:

Nice, I've never noticed that before...then again I rarely travel in the coffins...I mean trucks.

Arclight 09-14-10 03:01 PM

I prefer "shell-magnets".

Nice shot. Was that me? :haha: That map was a bit of a slaughter though, particularly with no rifleman grenades, but that's probably fairly realistic considering how badly equipped the Soviet army was in the early days...heck, quite often afterwards too. :haha:
And why is it every time I bayonet charge I always blunder into someone with a damn MG...it really does not work out well... :damn:

I'm pretty sure that map is supposed to depict the (re)retaking of Zhitomir in late 1943/early 1944, so the Soviets shouldn't be so badly equipped.

I wonder why is it that every time I move with a large group of people, it's always me that gets shot on the way...

Yeh, it's supposed to be the recapturing of the city. Think they've taken out the nades to lessen grenade spam.

And no, that wasn't you Oberon. I shot you a bit after that.

Did the German riflemen have grenades on that map?

Was on the allied side last night, but I doubt they'd give the axis anymore nades than what we had. Think I saw someone axis whining about the lack of grenades. :hmmm:

Raptor1 09-15-10 05:25 AM

Ah, well, that's almost fair, then. Though I'd rather have a grenade spam than no grenades, taking out those machine gun and sniper nests in the buildings around the square was bloody hard without them...

Amen, although we had a good chap on the MG on the left hand side, he kept their heads down...but every time you got into a room, there was a coal scuttle head with an MP40 waiting for you. :damn:

Dowly 09-15-10 08:25 AM

There's a pretty good spot on the far left flank for the allies, can see straight to one of the sandbag walls the Axis use to put ther MG to. Think I killed 3 or 4 MGers on one run there.
