We here in Eastern Canada are going to get this as well. Blizzard warning for tomorrow with very strong winds and up to 30 cm of snow. The upside...no work tomorrow. :woot:

How are you all doing in the northeast U.S. and the Maritimes?

Relaxing and safe at home. Daughter went to work but came back. No school and most places are closed. Could get up to 45 cm and winds up to 50km/h with gusts to 75km/h. They call it a blizzard. Winds over 40km/h for over 4 hours. Guess I'll have a coffee. Hope our American friends are alright.

Getting our first snow now in the north east of England but nothing like Scotland and Wales or the eastern US have had.

We've got an 'Alberta' clipper coming through today. So far.....nothing.

Getting another major blast of winter here in eastern Canada. Up to 50 cm of snow and very strong winds, gusting to 100km/h. Nothings moving so it's a relaxing day in.

That is a good excuse to stay inside and watch movies/play video games.

That might be a little bit chilly. Present temp is -14°C with a wind chill of -24C. The sun is out now and snow has stopped but nothing is moving. Will go out after and play. :D

look at it this way, it will be gone by labour day weekend.:D

Our "Winter" has all but vanished. Today's high is expected to be 56/13 with a low of 40/4. Last night it was raining in Park City, our major ski center.
