T-shirts sound cool to me too. I LOVE t-shirts! Wear 'em all the time. I just wish they had 'em when I was in the Navy and we didn't have to make 'em ourselves. I was a ping jocky when I was in during the Cold War when Russia was still full of Commies. Used to chase the alpha class fast attacks and the new typhoon class around. We always played with the whiskey class diesel subs that were so NOISY! Noisy torpedo doors, garbage disposals and the acoustics! You could hear them 90 miles away just listening on passive sonar and all this on an AN/SQS-26 CX sonar in a fast frigate moving at 10 knots in the middle of the North Atlantic.:arrgh!:

I can put names to most in that picture. In fact, I took many pics back in
2004 myself but never got around to putting them on a disc. I guess I will have to get that done and bring it to the 2008 meet. It looks like there may be about twice as many coming this go around.... JIM |
