Hi All,

I have been teaching myself animation and wanted to put some into my sigs.

However, I have hit an issue over the size (bytes) of these and wondered if anyone could offer any guidance in bringing the file size down.

This is my first tutorial effort and the image is approx 111kb...

After playing with the loss (approx 50%) I have got it down to 62kb, still too large, and the image quality is crap....

If I can reduce this enough I was planning on having animated storms/lightning in the background of some sigs.

Any help would be appreciated.

Note to Gizzmoe - This is a one-time post. I will not post further images/animations of this size. Just looking for help:up:

Please don´t, animated sigs are (or at least can be) ********** annoying! Forums are text-based, if I want to watch moving pictures I turn on the TV... :)

@ Respenus - This thread maybe a little quiet of late but it's stickied for another reason, that is to promote the forum rules regarding sig sizes.

As you can see even Sir Big Jugs has a correctly sized sig now. (LOL Mate) Wonders will never cease.
