It just seemed so obvious. :smug:

It's the subsim bowl today.
Da Raiders vs Houston.:hmm:

It looks like Fav-ray, in his walker, are getting it handed to them. When did Brett sign up for AARP?:rotfl: Projections look good for prozac sales in GB.

Chickenhawks vs Broncos... Go Seattle:cool: There was lots of trash-talking at work.

Chuckie vs the steelers. Could be exciting, Bucs aren't to "hot" (yuck, yuck, yuck,):rotfl: in the cold weater. Steelers by 20

Show me da beads!!! Go Saints:rock:

...and where did those Vikings learn how to tackle? Bort, quit jumping on the couch!:arrgh!:

Takeda Shingen 12-03-06 03:14 PM

Steelers by 20? With Bungling Ben throwing the ball? Without Hines Ward? I think not.

Anyway, I am about to be eliminated from the playoffs in my fantasy league. I hate it when the season ends early, especially when I was so very close.

By the way, I was right about Rex Grossman.

nikimcbee 12-03-06 04:03 PM

Did you see that kick!!!! zoinks! 60 yards!:o

Onkel Neal 12-03-06 10:54 PM

bigboywooly 12-03-06 11:40 PM

I wouldn't make that assesment just yet, Rex Grossman is a tenacious sort of QB that can always suprise you. I think that he does have something left in the tank, the fuel pump just hasn't been working for a few weeks. Remember, he's never played this deep into an NFL season. I've said it before, he has all the talent in the world, its just a matter of putting that talent to work.
Besides Rex though, the Bears were really on today, I wouldn't want to face that defense or Devin Hester, thats for sure!
NFC NORTH CHAMPS!!!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!!!

I'll agree that Grossman is untested in the latter stages of the season. This is the problem, and does one really think that it is going to get easier in the playoffs? You should hope that this vaunted Bears defense holds up, because without a passing game, they are going to need every bit of it.

In terms of talent, Kerry Collins is a talented QB. Would you start him? It is more than just arm strength and accuracy that make a good QB. Grossman has a good arm, but lousy vision and awareness. That makes for a bad QB.

You do that, and keep betting on Big Ben while you are at it. See if you have any money left by the end of the season.

GO ATLANTA FALCONS!

(My girl is from Atlanta. I'm kinda biased  )

Torplexed 12-11-06 08:50 PM

Seahawks couldn't beat the 3 & 9 Cardinals. They're a rather confounding team this year. I don't see them going very far even if they make the playoffs.
