I now have.
Tiger 2, T 34 85 (well actually it should be T 34 100) and a Jagdpanzer 4. |
If you guys want to put some much-needed freshness into the game, then install this sound mod:
http://mirtankov.net/soundtracs/511-...-14-27-10.html I've got the German music one and it's awesome, listening to Radetzky's Marsch or Deutschmeister Marsch whilst driving my German tanks around! There's a Russian version as well. |
:yeah: Thanks Feuer
Will get it as soon as I'm back home. HunterICX |
Thx now for some Soviet music. It just happens all my tanks are Soviet's.
|
It's amazing how much this sound mod has improved the game! Rolling along to this is awesome. My win rate has improved (or so I feel) and it's just much more fun playing with new and more authentic music.

I've come to the point that I decide from now on I'm stopping grinding for any other tank. Simply due to the reason I've filled all my 5 slots with the tanks I'd like to have.
The tanks in my garage are: T-34, KV-1, T-34-85, T-44 and T-54. Now I have 3 credit farmers which are the T-34, KV-1 and T-34-85. These three will be used to finance my T-54 and T-44 runs. I'm not letting go of my T-44 simply because it is a fun tank and it is a waay cheaper to run than the T-54. So here they are now http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/shot_007.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/shot_002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/shot_004.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/shot_006.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...shot_001-1.jpg There are however other tanks that I'd like to have, they are IS-4, IS-7, Maus, Sherman, Tiger I and Panther. But the T-34 is already superior than the Sherman with the exception of gun depression and Tiger I is a post tier 5 liability in WoT with those crazy tanks it is pitted against while the Panther while pretty is also a post tier 5 tank. Since I'm not going to pay for premium account and running those are expensive I can control my urge to go grinding for them. The little devil that say to you come on the IS-4 and IS-7 along with the Maus will dominate and thus fun to play while in reality you get upset losing so much money running them on standard. I can't foresee myself buying premium for life either. So I'm extremely happy to have settle with these 5. THANK YOU WoT for allowing me to play for free and indulge my tank enthusiasm with many other people online. Edit: Couple pics changed. |

Tomorrow I might have a marathon session to get closer to the Tiger 2. Quote:

I find the IS a lot of fun to command. It's mobile and has some decent armor for its tier. The gun is appropriate as well, certainly holds its own and then some. i am finding very quickly that the Tiger is expensive to run. I think I will only take it out for the daily doubles, and grind xp with my Löwe and Marder. Since they are the only elites at the moment. I can convert xp but that costs money. Even though I have just outlaid some gold, I want to save that up as much as I can. I sold my KV and KV-3 as I just lost interest in playing them. For my play style they are way too slow for me. I do like to be mobile and yet be able to put down some serious fire power if need be as well, all the while having some decent amount of metal around me to protect my mistakes. |

Slowness means every feet you take is a strategic leap than a tactical one. I can go fro and back with my T-44 and T-54 but on the KV I must be wise where I want to go. If you are particularly lazy KV is a convenient tank too. If you choose your trails wisely the KV will not let you down. Even when you happen to be unlucky. Playing tier 5 is so carefree that they are very much enjoyable. Quote:
