To get rid of these three new commands;
“Crash Dive” – set speed to flank, dive to assign crash depth, lower all periscopes, and lower snorkel. “Periscope Depth” – dive to assign periscope depth, and set speed to “ahead standard” “Surface” – return to surface, set speed to “ahead standard”, lower all periscopes, and lower snorkel. What needs to be changed/edited? I only want to keep the things in bold (and I reckon that are the only things these commands did before) 2 reasons for this; 1.) I want to be able to "forget" things to do, or want to do it differently for tactical reasons. 2.) The new commands are silencing some of SPAX's sounds. Thanks. |
To answer my own question, should anyone be interested in changing the 3 mentioned commands, do the following;
1.) Disable OMEGU 2.) Backup Command.cfg 3.) Open Comman.cfg and do the following edits; a) Change [Cmd123] Name=Lower_whole_periscope Ctxt=1 Key0=0x22,c,"Ctl+PgDn" Key1=0x43,,"C" Key2=0x53,,"S" to [Cmd123] Name=Lower_whole_periscope Ctxt=1 Key0=0x22,c,"Ctl+PgDn" b) Change [Cmd137] Name=Lower_whole_obs_periscope Ctxt=1 Key0=0x2E,c,"Ctl+Del" Key1=0x43,,"C" Key2=0x53,,"S" to [Cmd137] Name=Lower_whole_obs_periscope Ctxt=1 Key0=0x2E,c,"Ctl+Del" c) Change [Cmd164] Name=Ahead_standard Ctxt=1 Str=1013 Key0=0x33,C,"3" Key1=0x50,,"P" Key2=0x53,,"S" Key3=0xBA,,";" to [Cmd164] Name=Ahead_standard Ctxt=1 Str=1013 Key0=0x33,C,"3" Key1=0xBA,,";" d) Change [Cmd157] Name=Lower_snorkel Ctxt=1 MnID=0x3F0F0005 Key0=0x43,,"C" Key1=0x53,,"S" to [Cmd157] Name=Lower_snorkel Ctxt=1 MnID=0x3F0F0005 4.) Save and enable OMEGU. Haven't tested the last (d) edit since I never played any campaign or mission commanding a snorkel-equipped boat. |
And if one wants the "Report Nearest Visual Contact" back - which is very handy when a airplane is spotted - do this;
1.) Disable OMEGU 2.) Backup Command.cfg 3.) Open Comman.cfg and do the following; Change [Cmd434] Name=Report_nearest_visual_contact Ctxt=1 MnID=0x3F0A0008 to [Cmd434] Name=Report_nearest_visual_contact Ctxt=1 MnID=0x3F0A0008 Key0=0x56,c,"Ctrl+V" 4.) Save and enable OMEGU. |

suggest we make the OMEGU and SubRon 50 sticky
If not, suggest Lurker adds links in all three (Monsun, Omegu and Sub-50) to the corresponding elements Carlos |
one question my friends, all download links are dead it's possible to have a new download link on subsim or on mediafire?
