question about ships

I see some ships are not listed in the 2.04 manual that were listed in the 1.3. Were they deleted from the game, or just not mentioned since they were not new i.e. Escort Carrier, Fletcher, Everts...

Hi!

The escort carriers, Fletcher-class destroyer, and Evarts-class destroyer escorts were not listed in V2.0 since they are using pretty much the same models they used in stock Silent Hunter III. I was unable to find them in prior versions of the GWX Manual.

All the changes (well, the ones we remembered to write down) are listed in the GWX Change Log in the manual

Once again, phenomenal. I don't think I've run across a game manual of that calibre since Falcon 4.0. Absolutely superb. My hat is off, and my glass is raised.

Same here!
I spent a good deal yesterday to read it, and i gotta say it's totally a pro's work!

I expected this much details and information from a hardcore F-16 sim...and not from a MOD!

Totally and most honest Kudos to you people!

Who knew you guys were going to empty the Brazilian forests.

Me I just leave the manual up on my desktop when I need it.
then I just hit pause then hit alt + tab
then I read the manual then I click on the taskbar
and unpause and return to play

technique = no paper or expensive printer ink.

Possibly the most popular method used. :yep:

It'll definitely be the cheapest! :rotfl: Anyway, the manual looks awesome! I haven't had much interest in SH3 for a very long time, but with the impending release of GWX 2.0, I am starting to get interested again. I've been going through the manual and am quite impressed with it being 600 pages long. Dangerous Waters is the only other game I can think of with a manual of that caliber.

Sorry guys, just a quick one. No time to read all posts, but is this the final version of the manual or the final will come with the full GWX package? My printer is ready for those 600 pages. What a great read this will be!

I just want to make sure I print the final one. Thanks
