Is there more money to be made in vaccines or in treating children for measles? Hmmm business decisions, business decisions. How does one build a profitable customer base?

I really dont' want to derail this, but vaccine is the one example where corporate profit is good for the people.

Companies make money with vaccine. Vaccine saves lives. Companies profit, people live.
Here at least the state pays for the vaccine so the only thing parents loose is maybe an hour of their time.

As far as I can tell, it's probably the former, unless you get complications, it seems there's not much money to make from measles, apart from selling the vaccine. Once you have the measles, you can only treat the symptoms until your immunesystem has fought the infection.

i could have purchased a brand new car ... in cash, then donated $10,000 to charity and still had plenty left over for a couple of trips to Vegas

if you ask me we need to be cutting both of them off.

I personally say we put that business guy to the guillotine and let those poor and needy in that image run the means of production as a democracy, instead of letting some bourgeoisie scum steal the fruits of their labour for some garbage wage. However, such things are not meant for this thread.
