Ironic, as they were formerly kept in a little bag that Privateer had on his person at all times...

Fundamental concept: If you don't use it, you lose it.
Err maybe it's the other way around.

:k_confused: awesome tree!

So, Frau, is your "movin' in and getting situated" winding down? Any upcoming projects or new tool purchases?

Oh, there's plenty of things I still need to do and want to do - but having run out of the money I'd set aside for purchasing the place, I'm now having to wait until I have extra cash to get things done. Plus the cats cost me well over a thousand bucks by the time I got through all the vet bills and necessary expenses. Fortunately if they're healthy they shouldn't have to go back for a year so it's just food and litter and toys until then.

Still haven't got cable run up to the bedroom yet since my original plan for that didn't work out, now I've got to get motivated to start taking outlet faceplates off the walls up there to see if there's a spot where I can drop cable straight down behind the wall and still be able to find it for the hookup downstairs. What with the holidays and all and work being a nightmare the past few weeks, I just haven't had the time or energy.

The bad thing is that I've gotten "comfortable" enough where I don't feel like doing anything is an absolute imperative so it's a bit too easy to just settle back with the current status quo and not want to get involved in any big projects.

However once I get some more $$ for stuff I will be measuring the mudroom to put shelving up in there, plus I want to redo the entire master walk-in closet, plus paint some things... but those things will have to wait a while.

Sorry to hear that. It had to happen sooner or later, but still not fun.

I'm sure they'll give fair return in the joy and love department. :sunny:

I can empathize with that feeling. :yep:

Yep, I know what you mean. My bunker it's now livable, I'm pretty much done until it warms up enough to spray on some closed cell foam insulation and add an air conditioner.

Great to see you back frau :sunny:

The money situation is one I'm sure we have all experienced at some time or other and looking back at what you have already accomplished is what most impresses me, so small steps from now on, one at a time

Lol, I just got the holiday stuff (including presents still in their bags) put away last weekend. And I still haven't put up the blinds I bought last fall for the bedroom. :shifty: In my own defense I'll have to take the mattress off the bed and move it out of the room and then shift the entire bed around to get to the windows. And I just haven't been inclined to do that, plus it's been so cold that all I want to do when I get home is hunker down in a chair with a blanket and a warm cat on my lap.

It's good to see you posting again. I was starting to worry...:sunny:
