I'm not sure how this is funny.
I'm currently involved at my work to keep a union out of the shop. I kind of like/need my job, and we know that if a union gets established, the plant will be closed up within 12 months. The union shills keep saying that would be illegal, but we can't seem to figure out how domestic american laws would apply to an Italian company shutting down their ONLY US production facility to consolidate into one of their Brazilian, Chinese, or Indian production facilities.
I work at a good company, making good money, excellent safety record and programs, good benefits, etc. Yes, we've benefited from the improvements Unions have made in other places, but it would be of no advantage to us. The only reason the union is trying to move in is to make money for themselves, without any regard to the lives of the people they would "represent". Is my company perfect? Far from it, but I have little reason to complain.
I don't even get the next to last frame. In fact, I don't get any of them. It's just the rhetoric used by unions to sway the uneducated in these matters.
And the fifth frame? WTF. This is just pure propaganda.
Now, maybe I'm missing the satire of the comic, but as it's a heavy issue I'm dealing with, I tend to be kind of non-satirical about it.
