Then te lesson may be similar to those that bought in the Thatcher era.

God help them if that is so :nope:
Depends on the lesson and the buyer.
Though most Britons are stuck with paying for the ongoing legacy of the policy.

MPs are considering renaming the August Bank Holiday after the late Margaret Thatcher.

I can't think of a more fitting tribute to her legacy than telling people not to bother coming in to work on Monday.

Falkirk row: Miliband vow to 'mend' union relationship

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-23214554

I will say this on the subject

The Trade Union Movement backs the Labour Party, big business backs the Nasty Party. Nothing new there is there ?
The big difference is of course, the money donated to the Labour Party by said unions is clean money that has had it's dues in taxes on it paid by hard working union members.
The money donated to the Nasty Party from big business is dirty money that comes from a cut in the money saved from their tax avoidance loot. And all so
Tories money comes from the likes of Adrian Beecroft, AKA, WONGA loan sharks, I know which money I would rather have.

George Osborne has demanded Labour hands over up to £1.5m in tax allegedly avoided on a donation from a wealthy businessman.
John Mills gave the party shares in his shopping channel JML worth £1.56m in January, which meant there was no large tax payout.

STEED 07-08-13 03:54 PM

Dreadful move as the Toffs are bound to mess it up big time but they will not care as they cream it off the stock market.

No chance of Dick getting up to his old tricks of stopping coaches on Hampstead Heath. He would not be able to move for all the doggers, cottagers, and champagne socialists from Islington.
