I doubt it....the militants are vanishing at the first sniff of armed opposition.

Hopefully that will long continue.

Conservatives lose boundary review vote...even four of his own MP's sided with the opposition:

Hopefully toff boy will take the hint and realises that nobody likes him.

Jimbuna 01-30-13 09:14 AM

I fear that will take a general election.

BossMark 01-31-13 06:29 AM

A general election is what we need to vote these no good useless heartless evil bastards out.

Jimbuna 01-31-13 01:14 PM

If he hints at taking us out of the EU before said election I fear he may well get a second term.

No point going on the polls.

It all depends on how you assume those who say "don't know" will vote when the election actually happens.
Worst still while in the waiting room I read a article (No I don't recall the magazine but it was Jan 2013) saying 4 in 10 Labour voters would vote Conservative as they have no faith in Ed Milliband but would have voted Labour if David Millband was leader. Labour better get their act together and fast, time is running out and Toff Boy & Co are pulling out the stops. EU Referendum and now plow money back into the Military if re-elected.

Precisely...the problem for Labour is they caused most the reason for the austerity measures.

People don't like taking the resultant medicine but the majority know why it is necessary.

The downside for the Tories is how they go about trying to balance the books.

If Labour can come up with a convincing and workable solution I believe they would have a better than even chance at the next general election but until that happens I have serious doubts they'll get back in.

Ed is not leadership material, the party did not vote for him but it was the block union vote that got him the job. Ed is a nice guy but so far not showing the country he is up to the job. One way of showing he is, dump Ed Balls and give a real apology about Labour's over spending but also make it clear the bloody Banks contribution to the mess was bigger than what they did.

He must bring out strong manifesto now and not fall Cameron's tricks like the EU Referendum which he fell straight into.

Jimbuna 01-31-13 02:26 PM

Must admit I was bemused by the leadership election...I went against my unions recommendation and voted for David (a friend of mine) and did so again with my second vote as a Labour Party member.

STEED 01-31-13 02:34 PM

If Toffboy wins I think David will be back and will win the leadership of Labour. I hope Toffboy will loose but...As it stands now.

Cometh the minute...cometh the man.

Latest odds with Billy Hills

Labour majority 6\5
No overall majority 11\8
Tories 7\2

Jimbuna 02-01-13 01:05 PM

I'd go for a coalition but it may be UKip and not the LibDems.
