Ouch!! not that rusty :D ! But certainly a bit of the rust pouring off the deck to far left extreme of the pic, and the conning tower rust, but much more subtle. Oooo, yeah and rust and chipping paint like that on the scopes, but much smaller.

:) You should loose your command with that amount of rust on your ship :)

What do you mean by old conning tower ?
A skin is just a skin, do you mean textures or a 3d model ?

I am working on the black skin porpoise at the moment.
As far as I know all early war porpoise class boats were black.

ok, you are right. "old" is the wrong word, "early war" is better.
i start a career at '41 with a porpoise-class and i need a good looking skin (black of course). i don't really like the stock one.
i have seen all the screens and skins from your homepage, but it seems there were all for boats with a "late war" conning tower.
but you said, you are working on a black skin for a porpoise. that's maybe exactly what i'm searching for.:D :up:

Hey Foo man i love your work and have used your skins from the beginning, but i have a question i hope you or someone can answer. Ducimus (and tater et al) has made much ado in TM 1.6 about certain equipment and conning towers showing up at specific times. Right now i'm just using TM's skin versions (they're actually quite nice, to me), but if i installed yours would i lose some of the gameplay/historical aspects of these guys' hard work?

no.. you will not loose anything from Tm1.6
I use both TM1.6 and my skins without any problems.
