This just seems wrong to me ... we already have suspected referee calls in NFL games. I hope this doesn't ruin the game.

Caesars is one of my favorite casino's too, especially it's buffet.

sponsorship starts immediately, with this postseason

There was a time when the NFL did everything in its power to distance itself from gambling. That time wasn’t too long ago, but it feels like the distant past.

Today the NFL took another step toward a full-on embrace of gambling by announcing that Caesars Entertainment Corporation is the league’s first ever official casino sponsor.

The sponsorship starts immediately, with this postseason, and will allow Caesars to use NFL trademarks to promote its casinos at events like the Super Bowl and NFL draft. Caesars will host events at the 2020 draft, which takes place in Las Vegas as part of the NFL’s full-on embrace of America’s gambling mecca, where the Raiders will begin to play next year.

Seven NFL teams — the Falcons, Ravens, Bears, Colts, Saints, Raiders and Eagles — already have relationships with Caesars. And now the league is getting in bed with the casino company as well.

Alrighty now. Are you ready for a rumble ? :)

The NFL playoffs get underway this weekend. Does anyone have any thoughts on the 2 teams to represent their conferences in the Superbowl ? I haven't looked at the Vegas line as they have been wrong a lot this past season and it's no fun to just " follow the crowd."

The New England Patriots are always in the thick of things and compete every year but I'm thinking in the AFC, It will be the Chargers of San Diego to play for it all.

In the NFC, the St Louis Rams have looked strong so they have my vote.

Mr. Quatro has been pretty good on prognostications this season so over to you and everyone else.....

Yes! It's starting right now ... Texans just kicked off to the Colts in Houston.

Not sure how the NFC will go this year ... thinking New Orleans Saints and this may be QB Breeze last rodeo, but I do love the AFC and I do have a prediction.

Indianapolis Colts beat the Houston Texans

Colts go on to play the KC Chiefs

Los Angeles Chargers beat the Baltimore Ravens

Chargers go on to play New England Patriots

Not sure after that ... I don't bet on sports, but I sure do think it's Phillip Rivers turn to win the big one for the LA Chargers

Mr Quatro 01-05-19 04:48 PM

First quarter in Houston

Colts 7 vs Texans 0

Mr Quatro 01-05-19 05:41 PM

Second Quarter in Houston

Colts 21 vs Texans 0

Mr Quatro 01-05-19 07:07 PM

Fourth Quarter in Houston Wild card game

Indianapolis Colts 21 vs Houston Texans 7

Yes Bears vs Eagles (defending Super Bowl Champions) Sunday in Chicago

Final score
Indianapolis Colts 21 vs Houston Texans 7

The Texans didn’t even get on the scoreboard until the fourth quarter

The Indianapolis Colts will now play the KC Chiefs in Kansas City next Saturday

Next game today is the NFC Wild Card game

Seattle Seahawks vs the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas

no pick here both are medium teams to me :yep:

I thought the Texans would have played a bit better than they did. the KC Chiefs have looked good for most of the year. :hmmm:

30 minutes to kick off in Baltimore for today's wild card game between

Los Angeles Chargers and Baltimore Ravens

They played a regular season game just two weeks ago with the Ravens winning due to
a Chargers fumble in the last minute of the game.

I pick the LA Chargers by 10 points to go on and play the New England Patriots in LA no less due to
the Chargers have a better record for home field advantage. :yep:

Yep! :yep:

Not too sure about the Bears game vs the Eagles though ... against the grain, but I think I'll go for the Philadelphia Eagles to pull another miracle. :o

Well you got your wish, almost. The Chargers road to the Superbowl goes through Gillette stadium.

Did I pick that one or what? Miracle ending Eagles 16 vs Bears 15 with a last second field goal miss hitting the cross bar :o

Yes, August the LA Chargers have to go to Gillette stadium to play New England. I thought with the better record they could play the game in LA.

Tom Brady has beat Phillip Rivers seven (7) times now to Rivers zero. His time is up Sunday 1:15 pm est Wild Card game of all times ...

I just hope it's not snowing.

mapuc 01-07-19 12:34 PM

You can't say they didn't do their best.

I missed the last 8-10 minutes of the match between Bears and Eagles

From the news I read it last minutes of the game was a thrill.
