reminds me of the old joke:
What did the leper say to the prostitute. . . |

but the rich and powerful seem to have more desire to control another person with their influences. Example: How many of these men could've purchased sexual favors and avoided a lot of their problems, but instead they would rather use the power of their spirit and their position in life to obtain the same result for free. :yep: |
I am waiting for the time when a man accuses a woman of sexual harassment and to see what the reaction is.

I've been groped but I liked it....:yep:

An interesting op-ed piece written by actor/producer Salma Hayek regarding her experiences with Harvey Weinstein and the effects those experiences had on her and her career:
Harvey Weinstein Is My Monster Too -- https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...weinstein.html It is, indeed, surprising how far-reaching the #metoo movement has become. In the past, the excesses of sexual harassment in Hollywood have been swept under the rug and it was expected the #metoo movement would meet the same fate. Instead, it has grown and become stronger, stronger even than the Hollywood bigwigs who hid behind their power, 'prestige' and wealth and bullied their way through accusations. I've got to admit, its kind of fun to watch the execs squirm from fear they might be 'outed' themselves for the scum they are and lose all their sway. I've lived long enough in Hollywood and known enough persons involved in the industry (I've actually worked for a couple of production companies, and have a couple of on-screen credits) to know the stories coming out so far are really just the tip of the iceberg and more, if the movement sustains, is coming. If you think some of the stories so far may be outlandish or exaggerated, rest assured there is worse waiting to be revealed... <O> |
