Thanks for the warm welcome :) While I have some great gaming communities at my disposal, for them sub sims, calculations and such are a bit too niche.

I will definitely check everything out here, great :)

And I am back from a long hiatus with a brand new GPU and everything maxed out. Looks great.

Using TMO and related mods.

Hi guys, I am back but in a different boat. The USS Gar. I don't have any mods installed. So far its been smooth sailing. 2 sampans and 2 fishing boats have been deep-sixed. But in between those was a real prize a 10000 ton tanker. I got her in a perfect 90 degrees with 3 fish.

Yeah I have come back to SH4 with TMO installed, currently back in a S-class trying to sink some ship in the invasion TF north on Manila just having trouble getting in lol.

I've recently returned (because of a newer computer.) The one I had back in 2011 was barely handling the game. Playing it on the new one is great fun. Some of the new environmental mods (that will now run great on my "average" new graphics card) have done much for my enjoyment of the game.

I wonder how many others are like me. I also play SH5 (but again just barely. I think most people running average new computers (not bought specifically for gaming) are still barely able to get into SH5. I may be way of base here, but I think that's one of the reasons for poor sales (not often mentioned) and the move to browser-based gaming by the industry at-large.
