I want to thank my many voters.

I would not give up this fight if there was a chance that we would prevail. But it is now clear that even with all the provisional ballots are counted, which they will be, there won't be enough outstanding votes for us to be able to win Ohio. And, therefore, we cannot win this.

You gave deeply from yourselves and performed magnificently, and you inspired us and you humbled us. You've been the very best we could have imagined.

This forum, as you know, is at a critical point. At a time like this, we can't risk partisan bickering and political posturing. I alone have stood up and fought the good fight, to lead the masses, but the climate is not yet ripe for change, men are not ready to accept the beauty of their male counterparts.
