Extremely awesome screenies at that. That bound bow is just... well, awesome.

Yes that bow is awesome. I forgot how elder scrolls works any class can use a bow right? Otherwise its now an archer class for me.

The classes just dictate starting bonuses, gaining experience after that is through using skills. Pretty easy rolling your own type of character too.

Using the bound weapons requires some skill in magic though, mysticism iirc. And of course relevant weapon skill to use it effectively.

* or was that conjuration? Makes more sense. :hmmm:

Conjuration it is. :yep:

Always liked how the class system worked in TES. Can switch from style to style
without the need for re-roll. :yeah:

Just don't go off picking flowers for hours. Once leveled up 2 or 3 levels in Oblivion by gathering ingredients, brewing poisons to use and potions to sell. I had impressive intelligence and alchemy for an assassin type, but the combat skills fell a little behind.

Thats right I remember now. Going to up the skills in marksman! And whatever else is needed to get this bow. Just hope they don't make it a rare drop with a 0.1% drop rate. :rotfl2:

It's a Bound Bow, it's not an item, you cast a spell and then you have it for a certain duration.

 Certain duration. So its some magical bow you cast. I was hoping it was a bow I had to find/quest for, once I upped the skills for bows. I hope they make similar bows then where we can permanently wear it without first casting a spell.

Someone got their hands on a manual and scanned it. Links to the map and scanned manual are within the story itself.

In the past games, bound weapons were summoned versions of Deadric weapons. So technically you can still find the normal weapons those bound weapons are based on. They won't be weightless though, and look fairly ordinary compared to that ghostly apearance of the bound weapons.

Skyrim's Map Via IGN:

I assume it's in Russian.

Link is kinda broken. There's a translated version floating around somewhere, not really that interesting to look at though.

Few anecdotes have been gathering on RPS, drawn from a 3 hour preview: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/tag/skanecdote/

Quite amusing, minor gameplay spoilers I suppose.

Really looking forward to it, definitely my most anticipated game in years. The fact Bethesda didn't have PC code ready for a preview is a little worrying though.

I broke my self imposed Skyrim media blackout to check out a couple of the newer screenshots.

Holy crap this game looks beautiful. I have 11/11/11 off from work, and I've already told the fiancee that she won't be seeing much of me that day.

And how did she take that? :haha:

My girl would kill me!

She allows me my time with my "nerd (expletive for feces)" as she calls it :rotfl2:
