NEW SCREENSHOTS!!
First posted by kemeri, but I thought it could fit better here. http://www.buka.ru/cgi-bin/show.pl?i...pe=screenshots |
is that a health bar on that first screenshot?
please say it isn't so |
Health bars will be in the realism options, no doubt, same as the "real time enemy line of sight" thing on the map and so on.
The harbours look great on the map of the screen: http://www.buka.ru/sadm_images//game...unter_5/10.jpg I don't think they would have individually built such complicated harbours for just one location. Maybe they dropped the "harbour blocks" and made some sort of generated harbour that follows the coastline of the given area? What's frustrating with 0 realism screenshots is that we learn nothing about the 100% realism method of targetting. |
on a positive note: the graphics look beautiful!
But I'm afraid we'll have to upgrade our pc's.. :rotfl2: |
Every shot i've seen of the interface is terrible. My god, it really is the pits. It's not even worthy of a console, it would look more at home on some business application than a sub sim.
I'm sorry but i'm just not prepared to champion this product based on what I've seen so far....it really is quite bad :nope: |
There you dont see a Subsim...
There you see Our work laid out for us. That is OUR Mission. at least the Brewster Buccaneers (Brewster Buffalo Style Torpedobomber) is modeled acceptably. They will call it a Generic US Navy Torpedo Bomber because Grumman wants Royalties for the name "Avenger" geesus. Damn! but wtf they be doing ona British Navy Illoustrious class Carrier anyway? Oh no! |
It's just a game, the life do not depend on it. I get it or drop it.
the 3d engine demo video :o i will be happy if sh5 is half of that. Really beautiful. |
noticed icing on some of the screen shots , thats awesome , maybe winter time north atlantic we get icing on the uboats as well...
