The icons indicate this solution to the ship and torpedoes are erased and can not abilitą them, estoy forgetting something, need some Path.

Hi
After installed and enabled NewUis TDC 7 4 0, i can't see the rapport for the nav man which allow him to plot my position an the map.
also, i can't see the multiple papers whith the speed contact and the km for the contact that we can see on the video real navigation .
I have just installed Newui's TDC 7 4 0 and the megamod. (First megamod and then Newuis 7 4 0). Must i installed the 4-0 version of Newuis as indicated in the video ? Must i install anything else ?

I cant get this mod installed and running correctly. I have uninstalled the game and re-downloaded it fresh installed and re-applied the mod with jsgme. every time i run sh5 with mod enabled it crashes without error back to desktop right before loading the main game screen. i also attempted to follow a video on installation procedure of this mod on yt. but still no luck and same results. any suggestions? |

Ok after hours of scratching around re installing xp ect. ive narrowed the problem down. weird as it may seem disabling the sound driver in device manager allows me to fully use this mod without crashing back to desktop. after the game loads you can re enable the sound driver and all works well. hopefully this will help out anyone else that encounters this problem using the Asus Sabertooth 990fx motherboard. |

this guy darthwraith might be a genius on computers, but he is worse than the silent hunter 5 programers......i spent 3 hours today trying to get the ui 7.3 to work....nothing......pages and pages of text code.........
i mean if you know so much why not an install included........? |

After years of giving up I decided to have a go at this game again. Every time I get the same problem with this mod:
-range given by stadimeter is wrong. 
Curiously when running stock game (lame auto-aim) the torpedo still manages to hit the rudder of a stationary vessel 600m away (AOB=90)...Doesn't seem to take the initial straight-line and arc-trajectory of the torp into consideration very well...
Running the mod:
I noticed at first that recognising the vessel and "sending mast data to TDC" did infact NOT do this. I circumvented this issue by using included recognition guide and using THIS "send mast data to TDC" which DID infact work (as I can see this measurement on the XO dialogue).
However, using stadimeter to get ghost-image waterline of ship to highest real-image mast gives me wrong range readings. I compare it to map measurement (with map update ON for testing) and I confirm it by seeing torp solution on the tac map (which shows impact point several meters behind ship). This is not so much of a problem if all ships were stationary but will mess up the lead angle calculations on the TDC for a moving target.
I tried manually lowering the mast heights of targets. I tried on one and by using 80% of real value (real.val. * 0.8) I get range to be correct. However trying this on a different type of ship I needed to take 0.9 of real value. That's when I realized it was hopeless. Too much guess work involved which compounded by reading errors will make long-range-targets or fast-moving-targets impossible to hit. An ideal situation is already inconsistent at best (and I mean an inconsistent miss, maybe I'll score a hit).
Only by using map-updates and using the accurate data from this (ie no stadimeter, including speed estimation) can I get a hit. This feels like cheating and is just lame.
Is this related to aspect ratio? Does the stadimeter adapt to settings properly? I don't know what causes this and I'm jealous of all those who got this to work from day 1....
No manual TDC takes everything away from this game, no more challenges, just auto-aim+fire like a lame casual-player-oriented-game. |

Sorry to bother but how do I move the Fuel, CO2, O2, and battery levels bargraph somewhere else. It's on top of the UI and by the way the UI is working strangely... doenst react as it used to. Thanks

I've installed NewUIs_TDC_7_4_2_ByTheDarkWraith and I've installed NewUIs_TDC_7_4_2_Scopes succesfully in Historical Missions but it does not show in New Campaign/TOTAL GERMANY>HAPPY TIMES.
Please could someone let me know how to get them to show. |

This is astonishing - your mod changes this sim from nearly annoying to pure fun! I'd suggest to redirect a good part of the Ubisoft profits to you ;-)
