Description
The objective of this mod is to make the pacific theater as immersive as possible, offer an increased level of challenge, and to make the player behave more realistically. TMO defines realism as encouraging the player to make the same decisions, and have the same fears that a real WW2 submarine captain would have.

Historical accuracy and realism in the traditional sense of the word ( sometimes achieved by abstract means) is adhered to as much as possible, but some elements may be taken with creative license in order to achieve the overall objective. Trigger Maru also leans more toward the "seasoned" submarine simulation fan, and some elements may appear to be too daunting at first for your rookie player.

Howdy all, Just installed TMO 2.5 and everything works great accept for the control room. All the gauges are blank and look like they have been cemented over..LOL...Help please..

I just installed TMO2.5
It's the only mod i have installed and now none of my subs have a deck gun.
When i say none of my sub i do mean all the playable subs in the game.
I have even tried using sub school and other missions but no deck gun or deck gun crew slots.

Anyone know why?
I do not want to revert back to the stock game but it looks like i might have to so i can get the deck gun back.

How do I actually tell if the installation worked, I have followed standard installation of this mod with generic mod enabler but I am not noticing any changes within game, can I get some help please?

I have SHIV 1.5 and TMO crashes for me when I fast travel.

I tried RSRD and I can max fast travel with no crashes, so it's not my machine.

Any ideas?

Without activating the entire mod, which items would I replace if my only objective is to use the TMO HUD, and TMO graphics?

Tcman95, I had the same problem.

If you don't see the Trigger Maru splash screen when you launch the game, then it isn't working.

To fix mine, I had to take the JSGME.exe by itself from the folder and place it in the Silent Hunter 4 directory. You then launch the exe. You'll know if you do this correctly because it will ask you to create a MOD folder.

Once you have done this, exit the JSGME modder.

You will now see a MODS folder created in the Silent Hunter 4 directory.

Place your mods in this new folder. Launch the JSGME modder. Activate the mods.

Should work now.

Everything works perfectly until I want to see the outside environment. Whether I want to go to the bridge, look through a periscope, visit the museum, or go into free view, the game crashes. Every other view works (map, command room, etc.)

I did get it to work once, and I got on my way, but the game crashed a few minutes later (not sure why).

My mods are:

1_TriggerMaru_Overhaul_2-5
TMO_ Metric_SpeedChart_Nomo
TMO_Aft_deckguns
TMO_Alt_engineSounds
TMO_Alternate_JS_Radar Performance
TMO_Stock_Gramaphone
TMO_SubTextures_FooSkin

The first two are shaded out for unknown reasons.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Could the absence of the TMO_Sample_Emblem mod be contributing?

Nevermind!

I got my TMO working again.

For those who shall come after me (with a similar problem), if your game crashes with TMO when you're near shore (or want to start in port), download the Large Address Aware (LAA) program and add the sh4.exe. This program will allow the game to access more RAM, allowing it to run smoother (and load everything without crashing).

Oh, and make sure it says True when you load the file.

Hi folks. Tried using TMO 2.5 with clean install of Steam version and doesn't get past initial splash/loading screen. If the last v of SH4 is 1.4 and its not supported, which v is ok to use?

FYI, per the above link, v2.7 is not the most recent version of TMO (that is still 2.5)
